Thames Water appoints new asset director

Thames Water has Caroline Sheridan as its new engineering and asset director.

Sheridan (pictured) is currently responsible for Transport for London’s (TfL’s) engineering technical authority and asset strategy and will join Thames in the autumn. She succeeds John Beaumont, who has left the business after four years.

Thames Water chief, Sarah Bentley, said: “As we celebrate roles for women in the field of engineering this week, it is great to attract someone of Caroline’s talent to the team. Caroline has a formidable level of experience in asset management and a strong engineering background through her work in both the airport and railway industries.

Before her time at TfL, Sheridan was a project manager on Heathrow’s Terminal 5 construction a Caroline will replace
