Sturgeon names new ministerial team


Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon has named her new ministerial team with ten cabinet secretaries supported by 15 junior ministers.


The appointments include: deputy first minister and cabinet secretary for covid recovery, John Swinney, cabinet secretary for education and skills, Shirley-Anne Somerville; cabinet secretary for net zero, energy and transport, Michael Matheson and cabinet secretary for rural affairs and islands, Mairi Gougeon.
