Angela Smith joins Portsmouth Water as non-executive director

Former shadow environment minister, Angela Smith, has joined the Portsmouth Water board as an independent, non-executive director from 1st July 2020.

Smith (pictured) was an MP for 14 years and chaired the All Parliamentary Party Water Group. She is also a former member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee.

Portsmouth Water’s chief, Bob Taylor, said:“I look forward to Angela bringing an element of challenge and scrutiny to the business that will help us deliver more for our customers, the environment and wider society.”
