Ofwat confirms customer-focused licence condition from February

Ofwat has confirmed it will modify each water company’s licence to introduce a new principles-based customer-focused condition, as consulted on in October.

The change will involve replacing existing Condition G with a new  Condition G, and deleting Condition J. Ofwat said the alteration will strengthen its ability to drive customer service improvements and protect the vulnerable.

The changes take effect on 12 February.
