Ofwat concludes NAV reporting requirements

Ofwat has published its conclusions on the regulatory reporting requirements for new appointments and variations (NAVs) – new entrant companies which replace an existing incumbent as the provider of water and/or wastewater services in a specific geographical area in England and Wales.

The conclusions cover: documentation approach, financial reporting and performance reporting, and follow consultations in February and July 2021.

NAVs have until 17 January to decide whether to dispute the proposed revisions.
