MOSL consults on the metrics, tools and governance for business market incentives overhaul
MOSL has issued the second round of consultation on its Market Performance Framework (MPF) reform programme. A key market improvement initiative, the programme is looking at how the incentives in the market could be updated to ensure they are driving the right behaviours, the appropriate focus from market participants, and positive customer and environmental outcomes.
The new consultation, which is open until 31 March, is seeking stakeholder feedback on areas including:
• the potential metrics that could be used to monitor wholesaler and retailer performance;
• the intervention tools that may be used to support delivery of the required performance; and
• the overarching governance framework that will operate the new MPF.
The work builds on the first consultation in October 2022 when MOSL gathered feedback on the market activities and types of interventions that should form part of the future MPF, as well as the risks and issues that could prevent the delivery of these outcomes.
Interested parties are invited to a webinar on Monday 13 March 2.00-4.00pm to learn more and provide feedback.
