Welsh Water owner appoints new board non-executive

Glas Cymru, has appointed Professor Tom Crick MBE to its board as a non-executive director, succeeding Professor Stephen Palmer who is retiring from the board at the end of the year.
Crick (pictured), 36,a Professor of Computer Science & Public Policy at Cardiff Metropolitan University, will join the board from 1 October 2017, succeeding Professor Stephen Palmer who is retiring from the board at the end of the year.
He , has previously advised the Office of the Chief Scientific Adviser for Wales and is currently an expert advisor to the Welsh Government and chair of the recently-unveiled National Network for Excellence in Science & Technology.
Chairman of Glas Cymru, Alastair Lyons CBE said Crick’s skills “will be invaluable in ensuring we are innovative as we consider how to take advantage of the new opportunities to develop our services to customers, and meet the challenges of the future.”
