Mainstream media interest showed an upturn in the past week with The Times newspaper's publication of a guide to retail competition penned by THE WATER REPORT editor, Karma Loveday.
The article was the centre piece of a supplement on the UK water sector which itself is an inevitable early indicator of things to come. The advent of a competitive market in business water and political noises about a household market to follow are luring in the nationals' editors.
Growing media interest – where it raises awareness and understanding of the industry – is to be welcomed by all stakeholders including those of us who apply special diligence in reporting developments accurately and fairly.
