Six new retail licence applications make it a bakers' dozen

Six water retailers this week joined the ranks of companies seeking a water supply and sewerage licence to joint non-household retail markets for water services in England and Wales to bring the total number of applications to 13.
They were:
the joint venture between Wessex Water and Bristol Water, Water 2 Business;
Kelda Retail;
Sutton and East Surrey Water Services;
Anglian Water Services; and
United Utilities Water Sales and Severn Trent Select who have applied separately but reach refer solely to their Water Plus joint venture in their business plan descriptions on their applications.
They join:
Castle Water
Clear Business Water
Cobalt Water
Northumbrian Water's business retail arm, NWG Business
Thames Water's business retail operation Thames Water Commercial Services
Business Stream and
Pennon Water Group Services.
